At Woodlands our first swimming season commenced with a mere twelve swimmers and two coaches. At the conclusion of our second season the College had almost forty swimmers and six staff members.  As a result we were able, for the first time, to field a B team at many of the galas.  This growth can be attributed to the support of our parents and the determination of our coaching team.  Under the guidance of Kerrie Moolman, a top synchronized swimmer, and with the help of Danny Vile, with his years of experience and passion for swimming, we put in an outstanding effort in our league this year by taking third place at the Inter-Schools Gala.  Some of our swimmers broke records with enviable times.

Each one of our team members demonstrated tremendous determination and focus, and we applaud, in particular, Tingwei Deng, and Kayla and Calista De Wet who will be representing EGA at the Level Two National Championships in Sasolburg this year.
