Congratulations to the Woodlands Senior College Choir on winning the ‘Sound of Music’ choir competition! The competition was created by the Pieter Tourien Theatre Company in a bid to raise awareness for their upcoming production of ‘The Sound of Music’.
Entering schools were asked to perform and submit a video of themselves singing a song from ‘The Sound of Music’. Our choir created a fun skit and sang the famous song ‘Doh a Deer’. On the 5th April we found out that we had won the competition and that we would be given a prize of 53 tickets to attend the show on the 22nd April. The choir were also invited to perform their winning entry on eNCA’s ‘Weekend Wakeup’ Show on the 8th April.
The Woodlands Senior College Choir has had a fantastic beginning and we are sure to see and hear wonderful things from them in the future. All in the Woodlands Community are proud of their achievements!
