Open Water Swimming entails swimming in natural bodies of water such as oceans, lakes, and rivers as opposed to a traditional swimming pool. It offers a different experience with varying conditions including waves, currents, and temperature, making it more challenging yet a potentially more rewarding activity compared to pool swimming under regulated conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Our first participation included the famed Midmar Mile that takes place annually in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, as well as an event at Munyaka in Waterfall City.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Open Water Swimming is a new and exciting addition to our swimming programme.
