Children attending Woodlands Pre-Primary are given the opportunity to embrace technology through our school-specific information technology curriculum, Knowledge Network, where our students learn computer skills through games designed to equip them with the necessary skills to become digital citizens. The Pre-Primary College does not use IPads but develops fine motor skills through the use of laptops and a mouse from as early as Grade 000.

Coding has also been introduced in the Pre-Primary phase and problem solving, collaboration and critical thinking is evident during these presentations.

Young Engineers – one of our many extracurricular activities – is offered in the afternoons by outsourced providers and further augments and supports our drive towards equipping the Pre-Primary child with the necessary familiarity with technology to succeed as a 21st century child.
