The grade 00s were pleasantly entertained by Greg from the Chameleon Village Reptile and Conservation Park. He brought, for the learner’s enjoyment, some fantastic animals like a tarantula, crocodile and a monitor lizard. We learnt about the differences between a tortoise and a terrapin (which the learners were allowed to touch). The last animals to be brought out were snakes, the type of snakes included a cobra, puffadder and a boomslang. The show ended with Teacher Dinieke, and a few friends, holding an albino python around their necks. The show revolved around education and conservation of these incredible creatures.
