Mini-Netball is introduced to the girls from Grade 1 to Grade 3. All girls are taught the many different passes, positions and rules of the game. Mini-Netball teams are selected during integrated sport lessons during the school day. On Friday afternoons, our girls participate in the SISA mini-netball tournaments against various other private, independent schools. Our Foundation Phase A and B teams also participate in the D6 league where matches are played after school, during the week. All our coaches are certified and graded umpires. The season is concluded with a Winter Festival, where all our children participate.

Netball is a major sport at Woodlands Junior College. We have both A and B teams from Under-7 all the way through to Under-13. These teams participate in the D6 Regional Government league. The Under-7 to Under-9 players have the added bonus of also participating in the SISA league.

Woodlands presently retains three expert professional outsourced coaches (Graded) as well as five Graded teacher-coaches. The Woodlands Netball girls also participate in four tournaments during the netball season. At Woodlands we have a dedicated hardcourt as well as number of grass courts. In addition, the completion of the Matthews Hall Indoor Sports Centre provides a world class indoor Netball court.

Through the D6 leagues, our Netball girls are able to compete in regional and provisional trials.
